Dominique King was born in Chicago and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she graduated from Jonesboro High School. She then moved to Little Rock to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

After graduating UALR with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, cum laude, Ms. King attended law school at William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. While attending law school, she was president of the Black Law Students Association, Sub Region 1 Director for the Southern Region of the National Black Law Students Association, and Chair of the Moot Court Board.

In 2015, Ms. King graduated law school, with honors, and passed the Arkansas Bar Exam. Immediately thereafter, she had the pleasure of clerking for the Honorable Morgan "Chip" Welch, 16th Division Pulaski County Circuit Court, where she was exposed to the nuts and bolts of litigation through daily in-court interaction and behind the scenes analysis and preparation for a variety of probate and family law cases, as well as general civil litigation.

Ms. King later gained experience litigating cases for Plaintiffs primarily involved in employment law disputes, focused on Fair Labor Standards Act wage and hour violations. She has represented clients in areas of debt defense, personal injury, and general civil and family law litigation, including divorce, custody, and probate matters. Ms. King worked for the Honorable Willard Proctor, Jr., former judge for the Fifth Division Pulaski County Circuit Court, where she became experienced and highly effective in criminal defense, both State and Federal.

From most recently starting her own solo practice, D King Law Office, P.A., where she primarily focused on family law and civil litigation, Ms. King now brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to King & Forrest Law Group, LLP. Ms. King serves as the Senior Partner and lead civil litigator.
